Gerard “Gerry” McKENNA Born October 2, 1942 in Belfast, Ireland; died December 11, 2012 in Seattle. Survived by Catherine “Kay”, his loving wife of 47 years; his children, Rory (Chrissy) and Paul (Krista); grandchildren, Adrienne, Emmaline, Christian, Malachy and Grace; siblings, Sean (Marie) McKenna, Ethna (Eddie) Lundy, Maura Downey and Clare (Brendan) O’Hagan …; and a large extended family with many friends in Ireland, England and the Pacific Northwest. Gerry was a life long cyclist who raced for many years in Ireland and continued racing in the Pacific Northwest since coming to the United States in 1974. Gerry retired from Boeing in 2002.
